Belarus’s operator repairs Druzhba, no oil transit fall expected

MOSCOW/MINSK, Feb 3 (PRIME) -- The Belarusian operator of oil pipeline Druzhba, Gomeltransneft Druzhba, continues repairs of the pipeline, the company said on Monday, while according to aide to the president of Russian oil pipeline monopoly Transneft, Igor Dyomin, the repairs will not affect transit of Russian oil.

“Gomeltransneft Druzhba continues repairs of the defects of trunk pipelines Unecha–Mozyr and Mozyr–Brest found after inline diagnostics,” the company said.

Dyomin said, “This is pre-scheduled repair, it is on schedule. It does not influence overall transit.”
